Admissions

The Reformed Church University exists to provide equal opportunities for holistic, quality education that aims to produce innovative and morally upright graduates with leadership skills emanating from quality teaching and applied research. Admission into the Reformed Church University is entirely on merit and on the basis of ability to achieve. The University operate an admissions policy which ensures equality of opportunity to all applicants. Applications are welcomed from students with excellent academic potential and the University recognises the importance of admitting applicants to a course suited to their ability and aspirations. The selection process therefore takes account of all aspects of an application and not just an applicant's academic profile.

How to Apply

Applicants are hereby advised to:

  • Complete an official application form, obtained from the Admissions Office at the Reformed Church University upon payment of US$15 for Zimbabwean applicants and US$50 for international applicants in the normal application category or downloaded here .
  • Submit the completed application form together with certified copies of birth certificate, national identity document and educational certificates at the Admissions Office.
  • Endorse at the bottom of the Admission Form that they have understood they agree to their application being considered under the University’s conditions.
  • Please make sure that you enclose the following items; certified copies of birth certificate, national identity card and educational certificates

NB: Please do not attach original documents / certificates. The University will not be held responsible for any loss of documents.

Application forms can also be downloaded from the University’s website, www.rcu.ac.zw and the completed form should be accompanied by an original deposit slip of the Application fee (US$15) or by a receipt from the Finance Director’s unit. The Application fee may be deposited in the University’s Metropolitan Bank Account, Account Number 1706002776611, Masvingo, Branch and / or ZB Bank Account, Account Number 4564-679129-200, Masvingo, Branch.

All correspondence must be forwarded to the Registrar, Reformed Church University, P.O. Box 80 Masvingo, Zimbabwe. Application forms should be accompanied with certified copies of Educational Certificates, Birth and National Identity Certificates.

NB: Reformed Church University does not have third parties who sell application forms around the country on its behalf.
